Things
sellers ask.
What’s a “haul”?
A haul is one job: one design uploaded, five AI-generated lifestyle photos delivered. Each photo is a different scene. For a mug, that can be a kitchen counter, a desk, a breakfast tray or a stack of books, so you can pick what fits your listing or use all five in the gallery.
How does the AI actually work?
Your design and a product type feed a prompt written for that product, which asks an image model to render the product with your artwork in a photographed scene, not a flat mockup. Each haul renders 7 candidate scenes, scores them for detail and contrast, keeps the best 5, applies one color grade across the batch and upscales to 2048 px on paid plans (1024 px on the free plan).
How is this different from template mockups (Placeit, etc.)?
Template mockup tools paste your design onto a stock photo that other shops can use too. Hauld renders the whole scene from scratch each time, so the exact photo you download exists nowhere else.
What if my photos look bad?
If a photo misses, regenerate it for free from your dashboard. Each paid haul includes up to 5 free regenerations (2 on the free plan), and they do not count against your photo total. If a whole haul flops, contact us and we will requeue it or refund.
Commercial rights?
Yes, on every plan, the free one included. Use the photos for listings, ads, social, prints, anywhere. No extra license, no per-use fees.
What about my design copyright?
Your design stays yours. We do not train any AI model on it, license it, or share it. Without an active subscription, uploads and hauls are auto-deleted 30 days after the haul finishes. Active subscribers retain their hauls for as long as their subscription is open. You can request deletion anytime at [email protected].
Can I just call the AI model myself?
Sure. A raw model call gives you one image at a time and leaves the sorting to you: garbled text, wrong proportions, a different look on every photo. What Hauld adds is the prompt work per product, a 7-candidate scoring pass that drops the misses, and one color grade that makes 5 scenes feel like one photoshoot. The model is the cheap part.
Do I need a subscription?
No. The free plan gives you 10 photos every month (2 hauls) with no card. The Pack ($9, 30 photos) is a one-time purchase whose credits never expire. Creator ($12/month, 150 photos) and Shop ($29/month, 600 photos) are monthly plans for sellers who list every week; cancel anytime.
Which marketplaces is Hauld made for?
Etsy, Shopify, TikTok Shop, Amazon Handmade and Depop. Paid plans deliver 2048 px JPGs, large enough for the listing carousels of each of them.
